A spiral tube does not always need to be standard PU.
Depending on the equipment, working environment and routing requirements, the same coiled design can be produced in PU spiral tube, polyether PUR Spiral Tubes, PA6, PA66, PA11 or PA12 Spiral Tubes, with different hardness, dimensions, colors and structures.

One Coiled Tube, Different Materials
The material should be selected according to the equipment and working conditions.

LANGCHI can produce different materials and hardness grades according to the required tube specification.
For example, the company’s standard PU spiral tube is produced in 95A–98A hardness, while other tube constructions can be specified according to the application.
Four Coiled Tube Configurations
Different equipment may require completely different spiral structures.
1. Anti-Spark PU Spiral Hose
For equipment operating around welding sparks and hot spatter, a standard exposed PU tube may not provide enough protection.
LANGCHI’s anti-spark hose uses a flame-resistant outer layer with a polyether polyurethane inner tube. The structure is designed for applications around welding and automated equipment. Custom sizes, colors, hardness, pressure and temperature requirements are available.

2. Spiral Braided PU Tubing
Some applications require more mechanical strength than a standard tube can provide.
A reinforced structure can combine a polyurethane tube with a braided layer to increase resistance to pressure, vibration and mechanical stress.
LANGCHI also produces braided polyurethane hose using a polyether polyurethane structure with a yarn reinforcement layer.

3. Multi-Row PU Spiral Hose
When several pneumatic lines need to move together, separate spiral hoses can make routing more complicated.
A multi-row PU spiral hose combines multiple parallel tubes into one assembly.
The number of tubes, dimensions, colors and length can be customized. LANGCHI’s multi-row construction is designed for pneumatic tools, automation equipment, packaging machinery and robotic systems.

4. Nylon Spiral Hose
PU is not the only option for a coiled hose.
Nylon spiral hose can be specified when the application requires a different balance of mechanical strength, temperature resistance and dimensional stability.
Depending on the project, LANGCHI can work with PA6, PA66, PA11 and PA12 materials.
The material can be selected according to the equipment, operating temperature, pressure, chemical exposure and required flexibility.

Printing and Identification
For OEM equipment, different pneumatic lines may need to be identified during assembly or maintenance.
The tubing can therefore be specified with custom printing, including:
- Company logo
- Part number
- Tube specification
- Length marks
- Identification information
Color can also be used to distinguish different circuits.
This is particularly useful for multi-line pneumatic assemblies and equipment produced in different configurations.
How Do You Specify a Custom Spiral Tube?
You do not need to start with a finished tube model.
For an OEM project, provide the basic operating conditions:
1. What equipment will use the tube?
Robot, pneumatic tool, CNC machine, automation equipment or another system.
2. What material do you need?
PU, polyether PUR, PA6, PA66, PA11 or PA12.
3. What are the tube dimensions?
ID, OD and wall thickness.
4. How should the coil work?
Compressed length, extended length, coil diameter and straight-end length.
5. What environment will it operate in?
Temperature, pressure, water, oil, chemicals, welding sparks or continuous movement.
From these parameters, the tube structure and material can be determined.
